On March 27, 2024, we lost the pleasure of speaking person-to-person to the founder of amazingblackhistory (now changed), Mr. John Abercrombie, as he departed this life. Mr. Abercrombie was a supporter of Sancho Education Group, the Family of Corporal Freddie Stowers, and every person interested in learning the lost history of people of African ancestry. His passion for learning and educating others was a magnificent testament to his expertise in research and engineering. Always the advocate of learning more - his memory will live on.
