Sancho Education Group (SEG) is a growing enterprise focused on understanding diversity unification. 2020. The mission of SEG is to offer cultural news and resources to education & organizational leaders (ECOLs), parents, and students.

SEG provides customized, 1:1 instruction for K-12 student and adults in a variety of disciplines. To ensure the empowerment of students is realized, SEG supports programs of its sister organization, LSN KIDS – a 501c3 dedicated to teaching students cultural intelligence through the arts, cultural literacy, and world language.

SEG team members are expected to embody an openness for all people and the dimensions of diversity they represent; keeping in mind every individual is unique and diverse in his/her/their own way.

Position: Virtual Staff Assistant I (VSA-I)

Type: Part-time

Eligibility: High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement); 1 or more years of college/university attendance (2 or 4-year program preferred).

Compensation: $12-$14 per/hour

Job description: VSA-1 team members supplement SEG operations. They are an integral part of fluency within the organization.

Tasks in this role may include:

• updating and disseminating correspondence
• ensure scheduling systems are maintained
• creating or revising calendar & product content
• communicating with designated parties

Skills needed:

• Comfortability and proficiency in posing questions to ensure understanding.
• High proficiency in maximizing efficiency in fast-paced environments.
• High proficiency in reading, writing, and editing to specifications in English.
• High proficiency in professional verbal communication.
• High proficiency in responding promptly to virtual communications.
• Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet/database software (e.g., Microsoft Word/Access/Excel, Google Docs/Spreadsheets/Forms).
• Proficiency with creating and formatting tables and schedules.
• Proficiency in navigating, sharing, and uploading information to shared folders.
